The Custom Mini starts with the PC Module, a beautifully crafted box than is placed in your trunk or under one of the seats. This unit is less than 8 1/2 inches wide, 10 inches deep and only 2 1/4 inches tall. The internal components consist of the Intel D945GCLF2 Mini-ITX Motherboard and Processor which has most options already built into itself, like sound and USB ports. This motherboard is packed with 512MB of RAM memory. The hard drive is a Hitachi Travelstar 5K100 (40GB): 5400 RPM 8MB, 2.5” Notebook Hard Drive. The speed at which this unit runs is wonderful. Don't worry about turning it on or off, let the internal power supply handle this for you. When you start your car the Custom Mini automatically starts up. A shut down time delay preference is adjustable by us; for example; you don't want the unit to turn off when you go into a store for a few minutes.
The monitor that is supplied with the Custom Mini is the Xenarc 700TS. This quality constructed monitor has a diagonal 7" screen and includes the touchscreen capabilities. There is no better monitor available.
On some vehicles, depending on what you have, it is possible to "mold" this into the dash. It additionally comes with a mounting system to attach it to the dash, on top of the dash or on the floor.

* Our installation costs range from $100.00 to $250.00 which is additional to the sales price. The installation cost is determined by the type of vehicle that you have, the type of monitor that you choose, and your preference in the location of components. We will need 8-10 days pre-order time so we can assemble the unit to your specific needs, add your personal music files (supplied by you). We will then need your vehicle for 2 days to install this system. Our warranty is component specific and lasts for 1 full year on all parts and labor. Due to legal liabilities, we cannot install DVD or CD drives.
Sound: Our system plugs directly from the motherboard into your existing car stereo that accepts RCA jacks, or your external amplifier. These components are not included with the Custom Mini set-up. The sound quality coming from the motherboard is capable of 5.1 surround sound, but is ultimately determined only by the existing components in your vehicle.
